Revista de Estudios Colombianos (REC) is an indexed and peer-reviewed journal that has been published bi-annually since 1986.  We welcome articles from a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences.

We accept articles in English or Spanish ranging between 6,000 and 8,000 words (not counting footnotes and bibilography). Each article must include a 100-word abstract in English and Spanish as well as 5 keywords.  Please consult our editorial policies and style requirements before you send your submission to REC. 

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms: the submission of originals to Revista de Estudios Colombianos implies the transfer by the authors of the right for publication. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. If the authors wish to include the same article into another publication, they must get permission from the journal and cite it as the site of original publication.
