Jokabeth Ramos

She holds a BA in History and is currently a PhD candidate in Humanities specializing in gender studies at Universidad del Valle. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on testimonies about the processes of displacement and return thorugh women's associations in Montes de María. She has worked as a teacher in Cali and in public policy programs with the Undersecretary of Gender and the Ruta Pacífica for Women in the implementation of Care for Women who are victims of violence. She is currently working on a project with the World Health Organization on marginalized women in Cali.
