She holds a PhD in Literature. She is a member of GEL, the Literary Studies research group in the Department of Communications and Philology at Universidad de Antioquia. She is the author of several articles on education, literary studies, and critical editing. Among her publications is the first annotated edition of Historia de las misericordias de Dios en un alma. Autobiografía de Santa Laura Montoya (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, 2017). She currently works as a professor and researcher at Universidad de Antioquia.
