Alberto Bejarano, Instituto Caro y Cuervo

Doctor in Philosophy and Aesthetics from the Paris 8 University. Teacher and researcher at the Caro y Cuervo Institute in the Master’s Degree in Literature and Culture (2014-). Director of the Comparative Literature Research Line at Caro y Cuervo Institute in the Master’s Degree in Literature. His main areas of work and research are comparative literature, contemporary arts, contemporary French philosophy, Latin American and Portuguese literature, and Colombian literature. He has published  Archipiélagos e islas desiertas en clave francófona (Editorial Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) and Ficción e historia en Roberto Bolaño (Editorial Instituto Caro y Cuervo, Bogotá, 2018), among others. He has also carried out writing workshops, tutoring and support in publishing at the undergraduate level in literary creation at the Universidad Central, at the Universidad Javeriana and in the arts program at Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and Universidad Nacional, in addition to public cultural spaces such as the Lerner bookstore.
