J. Andrea Carrillo, Indiana University-Bloomington

She is a Ph.D. candidate in Hispanic Literatures at Indiana University. She holds an M.A. in Spanish Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.A. in Political Science, and a B.A. in Spanish and International Affairs from Marquette University. Her research  focuses on 20th and 21st centuries Latin American Literature. Her dissertation is on the intersection of anomie, neoliberalism, and global war in Colombian and Central American Literature. Her work has been published in Chasqui.
