Abstract

The research and dissemination work carried out by Lina Flórez and Estefanía Henao has provided the visibility that was needed for the female cartoonists present in Colombian comics. Not only those authors who during the twentieth century were part of the scene, but it is also urgent to generate an overview of those women who perform this trade today, in order to promote new local creations, thus achieving a national and international circulation of their work.
