Juan Carlos Alonso Rico, Universidad de los Andes and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana

Research professor in the Department of Art at Universidad de los Andes and in the Department of Visual Arts at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in Bogotá. A visual artist who graduated from Universidad de los Andes, he holds a specialization in Visual Culture Studies from the University of Barcelona and a Master's degree in Fine and Visual Arts from the National University of Colombia. His work focuses on photography and video art and has been exhibited in multiple countries across the Americas, Europe, and Saudi Arabia. He represented Colombia at the X Cuenca Biennial (Ecuador, 2009) and the XVIII Cerveira Art Biennial (Portugal, 2015), and has participated in various artist residencies. He has curated exhibitions such as Fachadas at the XX International Art Biennial of Cerveira (Portugal, 2018). He is the co-director of the International Video Art Festival, Videograma, which began in 2015 and had subsequent editions in 2021 and 2024.

Alexander David Cortés Zamora, Writer and Literary Editor

Writer. Co-founder and literary editor of Malevo Editores. Professional in Literary Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Former director of the language area of the DeNovo research group, endorsed by Colciencias in category B1, and author of the research books: Acompañamiento al lenguaje de las palabras and Comprensión y Producción Textual by the Fundación Promigas. Master’s degree in Reading Promotion and Children's Literature from the University of Castilla. Master’s degree in Educational and Social Development from the Pedagogical University.
