CALL FOR PAPERS REC 67 (Jan-Jun 2026)

Submission Deadline: February 15, 2026

Revista de Estudios Colombianos invites the academic and scientific community to submit research articles (up to 8000 words), interviews, memory accounts, creative processes, or case studies (up to 4000 words). REC 67 (January-June 2026) will be a thematic issue co-directed by Giovana Suárez Ortiz and Valeria Ramírez Durán. Scholars from various disciplines within the humanities (art, literature, history, philosophy, etc.) as well as the social sciences (sociology, anthropology, communication, mass media, etc.) are invited to submit for publication their work aligned with the call "Women, Ecology, and Conflict: Knowledges, Agencies, and Worlds to Come."

Felipe Gómez Gutiérrez  from Carnegie Mellon University is the new Editor-in-Chief of REC and will be responsible for continuing our editorial work through our platform. As you know, Felipe has been our Associate Editor and Review Editor since 2018.  He has a deep knowledge of the journal and the OJS operating system.
