Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents a study of the Call for Incentives for artistic creation in Medellín between 2014 and 2020, particularly those incentives aimed at financing the area of music. This public policy tool seeks to promote the democratization of resources intended to finance artistic expressions. The research analyzes the Call's portfolio and explores the perception and expectations of some of the winners. Based on this, we reflect on the transformations of the public policy tool to evaluate its effectiveness and relevance, including its possible impact on mitigating the precarious condition of artistic work.
